me: one colleague was trying to read ur comments on weakness so i closed immediately :)
Saavi: haha.. its normal there to peak over each other's shoulders?
me: not actually, u know most r aged ppl nearing 50 here..just one or 2 of my friends may do this

me: Lucky him :( n how do u do it?
Saavi: its my business
me: great business, then what r u doing in office now :P
Saavi: preparing the stand of my company on one exhibition. just finished with the timetable of representatives n now figuring out what to take to the stand. whether to buy pot flower for more beauty or not. baloons probably. the transparent will be done today. our catalogues tomorrow.
me: interesting stuff :(
Saavi: well yeah. generally its interesting work but due to all the confrontation n bcos of too many bosses its tough
me: more than satisfying husband ????

me: ok sorry, bt still i would like to know just hw do u entertain him after 5 yrs of living together :)
Saavi: when u r on ur 5th year with wife, i will tell u.
me: u r looking for excuses, try to answer.
i suppose she wont be able to do it after 5 yrs :P
Saavi: it’s a personal question so i might answer or might not, n its not an excuse or anything.
me: ok dont go for details. u can say what kind of activity etc.

me: so were u all right ?
Saavi: yeah it was tough but survived :)
me: what hapnd?
Saavi: problems with my colleague. she s not working with me, but we share the office, n shared the stand at the real estate exhibition. she is really vile woman. i've decided to quit this job, finally. have been thinking it from ever since i joined, 10 months now, but finally took decision. i cannot work with her around.
me: that means its not health prob. vile means?
Saavi: no, its not health :)

me: sorrrry, she wanted to type sm letter
Saavi: who she
me: the sexy co worker in dept. so what caused trouble that u r leaving now?
Saavi: attitude from my colleague. she is obstructing my work. and i've taken it too long now. i dont want to work this way.
me: so have u found other job?
Saavi: well i got proposition from another place and today i have meeting with the manager.

me: so u r leaving real estate n going to ????
Saavi: well its not certain. lets see.
me: so its uncertain that we ll be chatting for long :)
Saavi: well yes. i dont know what the situation on the new place will be.
me: i wish we ll continue at new place too :)

me: now its OUT. lost 60 Rs. on Clerk today
Saavi: match finished or what
me: no but for me its over as clerk is out for 7. i hope Aus wins n i get back 20 at least.
Saavi: oh

Saavi: why? whats the meaning?
me: coz i wish india lose :) bt my logic is, i usually Lose n hence i place bet that india loses, so that india wins and i lose finally :(

me: obviously, what she did to u?
btw is she pretty :)
Saavi: she is 55 years old n not pretty at all.
we are sharing the stand at the expo between our 2 companies. my boss secured the stand, without payment. as initiative came from our side, when i went to ask her whether she has any requirements for the poster that was going to be hanged at the stand, she said no, do it as u wish.
i discussed with the designer and selected size and design. when she saw the ready poster, she grew annoyed n said we already have similar one. why did u make it this size n in Italian. i said - did i ask u if u have any requirements? u said no, make it as u want, so i made it as i want. i did ask her abt language too, she said, whatever.
now she saying - why in Italian. it made me really angry, bcos im already fed up with this daily stuff. bcos i do all the work, even where we r supposed to share equally. but she can only criticize and find faults, where there r nt such.
and another thing, which made my mind, i had very small luggage to take to the expo - brochures, the poster n such. the others had terrible load. we had tough time carrying it there, but i did all the work, by finding ways to transport it inside, managing with the carriages, everything.
then when she saw the location of the stand, she made terrible situation. the stand was really in a not so good place, but it was bcos it was free n bcos my boss secured it at the last moment. so she made face n talked what a stupid stand we have, n how we do our work in not good way. i asked her that we both go n speak with the organizers, she said she wont go as she didnt participate in choosing the stand.
i talked to my boss, to the organizers, so on. at this time the other 2 were putting the posters. they put theirs above ours, thou she was saying all the time my side organized the stand. and they tried to put my poster in a way that it was partly covered by theirs.
i got very angry. i had asked her to wait for me, while i speak on the phone, n that we will put the posters after that. she told me that the sticky tape they already applied on the poster would try if they waited for me to finish my 5 min talk. i hadnt heard more absurd thing from another person. sticky tape doesnt dry cos its not glue, she didnt want to wait for me for the putting of posters.
i was so terribly irritated i cant tell u. n she didnt wait bcos she wanted to put the posters in a way they did. their above, ours below n covered by theirs. they also didnt send a person to attend the stand. i did everything. stood there all the time n carried the stuff around. esp first day when it was harder, n i had to organize the entrance tickets of all who attend my stand, more tables, etc. n its my first time to organize a stand at an expo! i havent done b4 n i dont have any experience.
im tired of this. its not the first time, it happens all the time.
me: i think she's nearing retirement, isnt she?
so u had this expo in weekend?
Saavi: yes

i m worried of stopping chat with u. if she's bout to retire u may continue. how long is it bfore she goes out of firm?

Saavi: sorry was on phone. she could pass here a few more years, i dont know. even if i knew she would go in a year i wouldnt stay

me: i thought sm months or so. hapns with old ppl, i think u must arrange for option bfor u leave. i ve personal experience in this.
Saavi: yes, i wont leave without having option for work.
me: good. u ve studied what as main subject.?
Saavi: :) indian studies. indian religions, indian history, geography, sociology, literature.
i did MA on Indian culture and society.
actually ppl graduating the country studies usually go to work in cultural or foreign ministry. i did training in both but i didnt like it. im not fit for diplomat.
